WELCOME TO THE BAMBURGH PAVILION – THE HUB OF ACTIVITIES IN BAMBURGH, NORTHUMBERLAND
Refurbishment of the interior of the pavilion is now complete and the pavilion is fully open. The refurbishment includes upgrading of the changing and toilet facilities, the provision of an accessible toilet from the main corridor, and additional storage areas. The exterior has been renovated with weatherproof cladding.
Bamburgh Pavilion plays a central role in the life of the beautiful village of Bamburgh on the Northumberland coast. The Pavilion is located on the northern edge of the ‘Green’ at the base of the spectacular Bamburgh Castle, with views over the cricket pitch and croquet lawns.
The Pavilion is an active hub for the whole village of Bamburgh. It is the main venue for various village meetings and activities as well as hosting many local clubs and organisations.
Managed by a committee of Trustees, the Pavilion is a registered charity. Largely self-funding through the events and activities it hosts, it has received some government grant money which has helped to fund recent refurbishments including the tennis court located next to the Pavilion.
Given its stunning location, the Pavilion can be hired as a venue for a variety of private events such as receptions, fairs, concerts, plays and other celebrations. It comprises a large hall with tables and seating available, an outside terrace overlooking the Green as well as a fully fitted kitchen, cloakrooms and changing rooms.
