THE FRIENDS OF BAMBURGH PAVILION 100 CLUB
Soon after the Pavilion was re-built in 1979, a 100 club was formed with 100 members contributing an annual sum to take part in a weekly draw. A small amount was raised which contributed towards the upkeep and maintenance of the fabric of the building. This is still the situation today. Administered by Celia Darling, we now have 260 members who pay £12 annually to participate. Several years ago, the Pavilion Committee agreed that at least two thirds of the proceeds should be given as prizes. Currently the prizes are 52 @ £10, 7 @ £25, 10 @ £50, 7 @ £100 and 1 @ £200. Draws are made quarterly.
